We were visiting London and dined at many fine restaurants, and Shezam was the best food and environment experience we had. Fernando was extremely helpful explaining the spices in the dishes. The restaurant is beautiful. Highly recommend and excited to go back.

Got in from the airport super late and needed somewhere to eat. We really wanted Indian cuisine and our hotel recommended this place since it was within walking distance. We were attended to immediately, service was great and so was the food! Boyf and I shared a chicken dish( chicken jalfrezi) and garlic naan. The decor of the place was really nice along with the music, it really was a lovely dinner with nice ambiance.

Tad bemused by the low rating this place has on Yelp. I was all but bowled over by the food, service and decor of the Mughal inspired restaurant. The intimate candle lit interior is something to behold. It really feels like you are in a time warp as you descend into a Mughali haven. The place is teaming with original Indian artifacts, antiques and art work. The music is traditional and sets the mood perfectly for a grand dining experiance. The food was nothing short of sensational. I went for the Chana Masala as a starter and Haleem as the main. The chana masala was hands down the best I've ever had. The chick peas were cooked to perfection in a sauce that left my taste buds gasping. The haleem was rich and full of flavour complimented perfectly by some delicious hand made tandoori naans. The Mango lassi was a perfectly sweet way to end proceedings as no room was left for dessert and I had a long drive back to Manchester ahead. The pricepoint for food was understandable considering its location in the heart of Knightsbridge a few minutes walk from Harrods. All in all I'd highly recommend this place and would definitely come back. Perhaps after I've tried Haandi down the road which was the other option on the night and looked equally inviting.

Out of all the Indian restaurants in London, the Hotel recommended Shezan. I am not sure if it's because it was right by the hotel or they are helping each other out by recommendations but this place was pretty good. The decor in here is insane.
